When you’re one of the richest people on the planet, rumors often swirl around you.

We’re of course talking about Jeff Bezos, who as of Monday was worth roughly $193 billion, according to Forbes.

The latest? That the Amazon founder is buying up real estate in Palm Beach.

Not just any old real estate, either.

According to the folks at Palmer magazine, Bezos has his eyes on a mansion owned by Howard Stern.

“The Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Palm Beach house hunt has come to a close with the purchase of a 2-acre, non-landmarked oceanfront estate currently owned by another high-profile local couple,” the local outlet’s Instagram post said. “Once closed and recorded, the price is expected to top $300M.”

The shock jock, 70, bought the huge spread back in 2013, in pre-pandemic times and before South Florida was the “It” place to be.

But an insider told Page Six this alleged deal is so not happening.

Another residential purchase in the area wouldn’t make much sense for Bezos, anyway.

Because the Palmetto alum, who announced he was coming back home last year to be closer to family and his Blue Origins space company, has already dropped serious coin on three mansions in Indian Creek Village.

The 300-acre exclusive man-made island is in Biscayne Bay, with only about 30 homes.

The pristine spot, also appropriately known as Billionaire Bunker, couldn’t be any more perfect for him.

The tech titan’s compound is about a 30 minute drive from his parents, who are in Coral Gables, and about a 20 minute hop over to the action of Brickell or South Beach, where Bezos and Sanchez are often seen hanging.

Moreover, the source told Page Six that Stern isn’t interested in unloading his place: “It’s not for sale!”

A quick Zillow search Monday of the sprawling Palm Beach estate confirms that.
