RSPCA opens its RHS Chelsea garden to the public
A garden created for the RSPCA for the RHS Chelsea Flower show in 2023 has opened to the public at the charity's wildlife centre in Cheshire.
The award winning design has been rebuilt at Stapeley Grange, Nantwich, with the help of volunteers.
Five lorry-loads were needed to move the displays, plants, trees and fittings from London to their new home, said the charity.
The garden is themed around wildlife conservation, and is open for free every Saturday in May between 10:00 and 13:00 BST.
The RSPCA Garden was awarded a silver-gilt medal - a merit between silver and gold.
It includes a hide to watch wildlife, bee hotels, a water feature made from recycled plastic, as well as bird nesting boxes.
"We hope the wildlife theme of our garden will inspire visitors to see what they can do in their own gardens," said the centre's maintenance manager James Salmon.
