The Royals of Ohio are back this week with more drama, fashion and Amish country

Just a week after premiering, Hulu’s Columbus-based series "Royal Rules of Ohio" garnered some widespread attention and reviews as audiences get familiar with the Agyekum sister’s life in Columbus.

The second drama-filled episode dives into conflict with relatives, more criticism from the ‘aunties’ and pressure to uphold the family’s real estate business.

The sisters are scolded for showing up late to the "Abadinto" or baby naming ceremony in the opening scene and are told not to confront problematic family members in public. Meanwhile, Auntie Abigail furthers her plot to become an official member of the Agyekum family with attempts to get her son to marry Brenda.

Through this, viewers get to learn the second rule to behave as royals: Royal Rule number 2: Never let your crown tilt.

How does Columbus feature in episode 2 of "Royals Rules?"

Yet another attractive hotspot in Columbus is showcased as the mother, Delali Agyekum is seen getting lunch with her friends at The Royce. Though the restaurant closed in June 2023, viewers get a taste of the dining scene at Polaris Fashion Place.

Here, Delali worries her daughters are losing touch with their Ghanaian roots after failing to keep remain civil toward an estranged cousin and requesting the family hire a chef to keep meals in the house.

Although Brenda and Nana are able to escape family pressure in this episode, Thelma remained stuck with her father, Akili Bobo on a trip around Columbus to visit properties the family owns through their real estate business.

And for those still wondering, "What is there to do in Ohio other than eat?" one of the self-proclaimed "Ohio Hotties," Nana, proves the Amish Country farmlands to be a perfect spot for a secret date.

The pair strolled through the cornfields of a farm in Amish Country to escape family and spend time with her "situationship" Michael. Although Brenda says the date resembles a scene from "Nightmare on Elm Street," the unconventional outing gives viewers an opportunity to experience the unique lifestyle Ohio has to offer.

As the series begins to get its footing, viewers can expect the series to feature more life outside of all around Ohio as the sisters prepare to visit Ohio University in the next episode.
