Royal women rarely wear sandals—instead choosing heels for most of their engagements. Or if the event includes a more adventurous activity, sometimes they opt for sneakers or boots. But over the years, the younger members of the family have started to embrace the style. Meghan typically favors flat sandals, wearing t-strap styles or slides, while if Kate wears sandals, they're often espadrille wedges. And, McCartney (the woman behind the brand) has a long relationship with the British royal family; she is friends with King Charles, and designed Meghan's royal wedding reception dress.
