Rosemary and Bill Team Up on the Next 'When Calls the Heart'

Hearties, give yourselves a standing ovation! The season premiere of When Calls the Heart ranked No. 1 as the most-watched entertainment cable program for the week and day. The Season 11 premiere had over 2.8 million unique viewers and ranked No. 1 amongst women 18+. Not surprising to those in the know! We're two episodes in with 10 more to go so let's take a look at episode No. 3!

What happened in last week's episode of When Calls the Heart?

It was Nathan's (Kevin McGarry) birthday last week and despite telling Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller) he didn't want a shindig, she and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) planned one anyway. After taking on the role of governor, Lucas (Chris McNally) had to divest his interest in the Queen of Hearts. Lee (Kavan Smith) and Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) decided to buy it to keep the ownership local, retaining Mike (Ben Rosenbaum) as the manager. Faith (Andrea Brooks) had her hands full looking after her new charge, Lily (Chloe McKinnon). Mike and Mei (Amanda Wong) continue their courtship. Meanwhile, Bill (Jack Wagner) continued to investigate Lucas' shooting.

What is this week's episode of When Calls the Heart about?

In "Steps Forward," this week's episode of When Calls the Heart, Rosemary (Hutton) and Bill (Wagner) team up to investigate a case they believe shouldn’t be closed. Things don't add up for Toby (Billy Christos Jr.) when he continues to have trouble with his math lessons. With all the working moms in Hope Valley, the townswomen start a day care center. Hickam (Rosenbaum) and Mei (Wong) celebrate a milestone while Lucas makes some major decisions regarding his governorship and his interest in Hope Valley. As you may have seen from the promos (and in the gallery below), look for the dastardly Bernhardt Montague (Benjamin Wilkinson) to pop up in this episode.

When does this episode of When Calls the Heart premiere?

"Steps Forward" will premiere on Sunday, April 21 at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel and will be available to stream the next day on Hallmark Movies Now.
