Romeoville man killed in Evergreen Park crash

A Romeoville man died following a car crash early Sunday in Evergreen Park, according to authorities.

The man was identified as 20-year-old Axel Aguilar, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The Chicago Fire Department said three people were taken to hospitals after paramedics responded to the crash early Sunday in the 3400 block of West 87th Street.

They referred questions about the crash investigation to Evergreen Park Police, who did not respond to a message left seeking information.

According to the medical examiner, Aguilar was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:41 a.m. Sunday, and he had suffered blunt force injuries.
