Rod Stewart's kids are growing up! Alastair—the 78-year-old's second-youngest child and his first with wife Penny Lancaster, 52—turned 18 years old on Nov. 27, and the family celebrated with some sweet photos.
Lancaster shared the snaps on her Instagram Stories, via People, honoring Alastair on his big day with photos of herself, Stewart and their son lounging on the couch and enjoying time together at a restaurant.
The latter picture showcased Alastair's impressive height, with the teenager towering over both Lancaster and Stewart. He stood between the two with an arm around each, with Lancaster tagging the location as The MAINE Mayfair Restaurant & Bar, a restaurant in London.
Lancaster—who also shares son Aiden, 12, with Stewart—also paid tribute to Alastair with a regular post on Instagram, writing alongside a couple of baby photos and a more recent one with the whole family, "My beautiful first born son that I had dreamt of for 34 years of my life, came to me as a gift that I have always treasured ❤️ happy 18th birthday. So proud of the wonderful man you have become xxxx @alastairwstewart."
In a photo taken of Stewart with his expansive family in July, Alastair appeared to be the tallest of the bunch, with his mother also one of the tallest. Lancaster is reportedly 6 feet 1 inch tall, while Stewart is 5 feet 10 inches.
Along with Alastair and Aiden, Stewart also has six other kids. He welcomed daughter Sarah, 60, with ex-girlfriend Susannah Boffey in 1963, followed by daughter Kimberly, 44, and son Sean, 43, with ex-wife Alana Stewart in 1979 and 1980, respectively.
After Stewart and Alana got divorced in 1984, the singer-songwriter began a relationship with Kelly Emberg, welcoming daughter Ruby, 36, in 1987. He then married Rachel Hunter in 1990, and they had two children while they were together, a daughter named Renee, 31, in 1992, and a son named Liam, 29, in 1994. Stewart also has multiple grandchildren.
Despite the extensive history between Stewart, his kids and their mothers, the family seems quite close, with Lancaster often sharing updates and photos.
