Rock Hall hosts Taylor Swift Fan Day to celebrate new album 'The Tortured Poets Department'

A special event is set to be hosted at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Friday for Taylor Swift fans.

In honor of Swift’s new album release, “The Tortured Poets Department,” Swifties will be able to enjoy the moment with fellow fans all day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rock Hall.

Iconic costumes and props from her music videos will be on display along with two new additions from 2020 – her memorable sweater from “Cardigan” which was the lead single off her eighth studio album, “Folklore," and her costume in “Willow” from her ninth album, “Evermore."

Throughout the day Rachel Hunt, a.k.a. DJ Guilty Pleasures, is going to blast Swift's music from PNC stage while music from all of Swift's eras will also be playing throughout the museum. Special artifact guides will be given to those in attendance and the Long Live Rock Letters will have a “Swifty” makeover for photo opportunities.

Here are the scheduled activities:

  • Noon to 5 p.m.: Friendship bracelet making

  • Noon to 5 p.m.: Music Video Reel in Foster Theater

  • Noon to 2 p.m.: DJ Guilty Pleasures playing Taylor Swift on the PNC Stage

  • 2 p.m.: Taylor Swift trivia

  • 2:30 p.m.: Playing of the full album, "The Tortured Poets Department"

  • 4 p.m.: Group Photo Op at the Long Live Rock Letter

Merch and vinyls will be available for purchase at the gift shop while supplies last.
