Rochester shooting leaves man with life-threatening injuries; investigation underway

Rochester police are investigating a late-night shooting that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

Just before midnight on Friday, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 300 block of Murray Street. Upon arrival, they found a male victim in his 20s with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body.

The unidentified man was taken to Strong Hospital by AMR and is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation, and no suspects are in custody at this time, police said.
