Rochester Burger King robbed at gunpoint; investigation underway

An investigation is underway after a Rochester Burger King was robbed at gunpoint.

Rochester police said at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers responded to a robbery report at the Burger King located on Monroe Avenue in Rochester.

Police said the suspect approached the drive-thru window, displayed a handgun, and stole the cash register.

No employees inside the restaurant were injured during the incident, police said.

There are no suspects in custody.
