Robert Ford's double-double against his former team leads Montana State over Idaho State

Jan. 23—BOZEMAN — Montana State guard Robert Ford had himself a night against his former squad the Idaho State Bengals in the Bobcats' 77-70 home win Monday.

Ford, who began his career with the Bengals finished with 18 points while hauling in 13 rebounds and snatching two steals.

Brandon Walker played a key role for Montana State (9-10, 4-2 in Big Sky games) with a game-high 19 points on an efficient 7 of 11 shooting from the field. Chika Nduka rounded out the Bobcats scorers in double figures with 12 points.

Malee Arington paced Idaho State (7-13, 2-4 in league) with 15 points.

The Bobcats found their groove early and jumped out to an 11-3 lead but Idaho State was able to cut the deficit to three with the score at 20-17 with 6:16 to play in the first half before Montana State went on a 14-7 run to end the half.
