Which roads will be closed for the 2024 Zoeller Pump Pegasus Parade? Here's the full list
Be prepared for downtown street closures ahead of the 2024 Zoeller Pump Company Pegasus Parade on Sunday.
The parade will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at Broadway and Campbell Street, and will cruise on West Broadway for 17 blocks ending at Ninth Street.
This year's parade theme is "Celebrating Derby 150," in honor of the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby.
Bleacher seats, located along Broadway from Hancock to Sixth streets, are available for free this year courtesy of Churchill Downs Incorporated. VIP reserved bleacher seats in the TV Zone, located along Broadway between Floyd and Preston streets, cost $50 and include a parking pass (for every four tickets purchased), and complimentary drinks and snacks.
The parade is part of the Kentucky Derby Festival, a series of activities around Louisville in the two weeks leading up to the May 4 Kentucky Derby.
