Rita's is handing out free Italian water ice for the first day of spring

For some, the spring stirs thoughts of warm weather, bright flowers and the start of allergy season.

But for those with a sweet tooth, the first day of spring can only mean one thing: free Rita's.

On Tuesday, March 19, Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard will continue its over-25-year-long tradition of handing out free Italian ice to celebrate the first day of spring.
