Tiger Woods continues to make progress on his rehabilitation from the injuries suffered in his serious car accident in Southern California earlier this year.

The 15-time major champion was involved in a serious one-car accident in Southern California earlier this year. Woods suffered multiple serious leg injuries and underwent emergency surgery. He has since been able to return home to Florida, where he’s undergoing rehab.

It’s unclear when – or if – Woods will return to professional golf. However, you can bet that Woods is doing everything he can to make it happen.

Woods’ close friend, Rickie Fowler, revealed what he’s seen from the PGA Tour star as of late.

“I know he’s been getting after it as far as rehab goes—that takes up most of his day,” Fowler said on Wednesday before the 3M Open. “I know as kind of stubborn as he is, being as big of a kind of golf nerd as all of us are, he’s putting the work in. … I know it’s been tough. It’s a long road till now, he’s got a long road ahead, but he’s putting the work in.”

That’s definitely great to hear.

Woods, 45, told Golf Digest earlier this year that his rehab was his No. 1 focus.

“My physical therapy has been keeping me busy,” he said. “I do my routines every day and am focused on my No. 1 goal right now: walking on my own. Taking it one step at a time.
“This has been an entirely different animal,” Woods added of his injuries. “I understand more of the rehab processes because of my past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I have ever experienced.”

Hopefully we’ll see Woods back on the course soon.
