Here’s what restaurants are new, what to expect during Kansas City Restaurant Week 2023
Nearly 190 local restaurants are coming together to celebrate Kansas City’s restaurant week in 2023. From Jan. 13-23, restaurants will have special deals to honor the event’s 14th anniversary.
It’s 10 days of multi-course meals, all priced at either $20, $40 or $50 and available for dine-in, carryout or delivery. 10% of the proceeds will go towards these local charities:
Cornerstones of Care, which provides support to children, youth and families connected to the foster care and juvenile justice systems
Visit KC Foundation, which aims to improve Kansas City through tourism advocacy and workforce development
Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association Education Foundation, which works to promote, advocate and educate the community about the restaurants and hospitality industries
“It’s the celebration of supporting the local hospitality industry,” said Jenny Wilson, vice president of partnership and events at Visit KC. “It’s a great time to get out, try a restaurant you’ve never been to before, go to a neighborhood with a restaurant you haven’t been to before or go back to your favorite restaurant to support them.”
WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR?
A lot of local favorites are returning for 2023, including Beer Kitchen, Hamburger Mary’s, Minsky’s, The Ship and V’s Italiano Ristorante. Jenny Wilson said these 20 restaurants are new to this year’s lineup.
