Some restaurants and bars promise customers "death-defyingly spicy" wings, but the end result is usually pretty tame. But at Wing Kingz, a restaurant in Canterbury, Kent, in the UK, they're serving up wings so hot that you need to sign a waiver due to the possibility of "loss of life."

The waiver must be signed by anyone participating in Wing Kingz's "Earn Your Wingz" challenge. To do the challenge, you have to eat 15 chicken wings coated in a Carolina Reaper sauce within 10 minutes. If you complete the fiery feat, your meal will be free and Wing Kingz will add your name to their Hall of Fame wall.

In addition to loss of life, the intimidating waiver also points out the possibility of personal injury and more.

“I acknowledge that I will be engaging in the Earn Your Wingz Challenge, whereby there may be a risk of personal injury, illness or possible loss of life and damage to or loss of personal property,” reads the waiver, according to the New York Post.

If you're unfamiliar with the California Reaper pepper, the infamous pepper can reach a maximum of 2.2 million Scoville heat units. For reference, a jalapeño pepper is usually between 2,000 to 8,000 Scoville heat units.

Tragically, it was just last September when the dangers of eating California Reaper peppers made headlines across the country. A Massachusetts teenager died shortly after participating in the One Chip Challenge. The challenge, which was removed from stores following the death, involves eating a single tortilla chip that contains Carolina Reaper Pepper and Naga Viper Pepper.
