Report: Decision Made In Adrian Peterson Domestic Violence Case
NFL running back Adrian Peterson is not going to face charges in his domestic violence case.
TMZ Sports is reporting that Peterson was supposed to have a hearing in Los Angeles on Apr. 29, but the running back and prosecutors met beforehand and resolved the issue.
Prosecutors declined to criminally charge Peterson, though he’s going to have to complete 20 sessions of domestic violence and alcohol counseling within the next six months.
This stems back from an altercation with his wife in February. Peterson was arrested and sent to jail after his wife Ashley had a mark on her hand after the incident.
A pre-filing L.A. City Attorney hearing, as an alternative to prosecution, was held Friday for Adrian Peterson, who was arrested in February on a felony domestic violence charge. Peterson agreed to to complete 20 sessions of domestic violence and alcohol counseling in next 6 mos.

He wasn’t charged with anything following that altercation.
Peterson will now look to continue his NFL career for at least one more season as he’s currently unsigned. He spent time with both the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks last season.
