Region Athlete of the Week leader has slim three-vote margin
Every vote counts.
Just a few hours remain to vote for Monroe County Region Athlete of the Week for April 8-14 and as they say in the election business, the race is too close to call.
Dundee baseball player Quinton Lephew was the leader as of 12:30 p.m. Wednesday with 173 votes, but that was just three more than New Boston Huron soccer player Rylie Cassette.

A pair of Bedford athletes – lacrosse player Brady Weirich (135) and soccer player Kamryn Clifton (116) – still are within striking distance.
