The Refectory, La Chatelaine among Columbus restaurants offering discounted gift cards
Diners can get 30% off their meals at nearly 30 local restaurants with gift certificates on sale now, through Columbus Independents.
The organization that concentrates marketing efforts for a number of independent local restaurants has a limited number of discounted certificates for sale on its website. Cards worth $50 are going for $35. Cards worth $25 are going for $17.50.
The discounts are available for restaurants, such as Adelaide's Gin Joint and Habibi Grill, two of Columbus Monthly's Best New Restaurants for 2023. The sale also includes long-established places, such as Barcelona, the Refectory, La Chatelaine Bakery and Katzinger's Delicatessen.

The rest of the list includes: Alqueria Farmhouse Kitchen, Atlas Tavern, Cambridge Tea House, Cameron's American Bistro, Chile Verde, Elevator Brewery & Draught Haus, Figlio Wood Fired Pizza, Gallo's on High, Grandview Theater and Drafthouse, Hang Over Easy, Las Margaritas, Lemongrass Fusion Bistro, Napa Kitchen & Bar, Nomad, ['plas] − Food and Drink, Ray Ray's Hog Pit (North High Street), South Village Grille, Studio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse, Subourbon, the Wine Bistro, Trattoria Roma, Understory, Watershed Kitchen + Bar, and Wolf's Ridge Brewing.
The gift certificates are valid for five years and cannot be used for alcohol, tax or tips.
The sale lasts until mid-June, or until gift certificates are gone.
