Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell's Sons Enjoy Night Out in LA

Deacon Phillippe and Magnus Ferrell appear to have quite the bond–and it's not just because they're both the offspring of equally famous actors.

Deacon, the 19-year-old son of Reese Witherspoon and ex Ryan Phillippe, and Magnus, the eldest of Will Ferrell and Viveca Paulin's three kids, are both aspiring musicians and apparently good friends.

The duo was photographed with their arms around one another on Friday, Oct. 20, outside Craig's, a celebrity-frequented restaurant in Los Angeles, California, wearing casual yet chic ensembles.

Deacon donned a dark green button-up shirt, silver chain, ripped jeans, sneakers and a brown baseball cap. Magnus, also 19, also wore a dark green top–more specifically, a two-tone knit sweater–and paired it with khakis and a pair of black boots. Whether it was planned remains unclear, but the two coincidentally matched, proving they're just close enough to be on the same fashion wavelength.

The guys' night out came just a day after Magnus dropped his latest single, "Drinks on Me," commemorating the night with a release party and performance at The Vermont Hollywood on Thursday, Oct. 19.

Joining Magnus for the big celebration was his pal Deacon, who was listed as the special guest and opening act for the evening. According to an official statement, Magnus' release party was in partnership with Smile Train, an international charitable organization that fundraises and advocates for clefts.

The night looked to be a huge success as Magnus shared a montage of his favorite moments online and some photos, later shouting out Deacon for his special appearance. "that was SO. MUCH. FUN," he added alongside a trio of stills he shared on Instagram, later gushing, "GOD I LOVE PERFORMING @vermonthollywood thank u @missgemmaeve for the amazing video :) @deaconphillippe."
