After reports broke that Red Lobster filed for bankruptcy, some people took the news harder than others.

One of those apparently most affected by the brand's planned restructuring is none other than Flavor Flav, who has now proposed a plan to "save" the nationwide seafood chain.

The "Public Enemy No. 1" rapper shared his pledge in response to an official statement Red Lobster posted to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, mere hours after fans began rioting against its latest financial update.

In the May 21 announcement, the company attempted to quell concerns regarding the future of the casual dining restaurant by explaining its decision to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

"For more than five decades Red Lobster has been a part of your family's life. We've been there for your celebrations, big and small. We may be the place that you first discovered your love of seafood. Or where you met the love of your life on your first date. Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, and yes, weddings. We have been here for them all. And Red Lobster is determined to be there for these moments for generations to come. And that's why we filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection," the statement began.

"Bankruptcy is a word that's often misunderstood. Filing for bankruptcy does not mean we are going out of business," it continued, "In fact, it means just the opposite. It is a legal process that allows us to make changes to our business and our cost structure so that Red Lobster can continue as a stronger company going forward."

The lengthy explanation addressed Red Lobster's recent restaurant closures and cited the success of other brands–namely, Delta Airlines and Hertz car rentals–that the seafood company claimed "emerged stronger" after filing for similar protections.

It also encouraged those upset by the recent announcement to head to their nearest Red Lobster for a meal to support the brand in writing its "new chapter."

As it turns out, this may be easier than initially imagined, as the 65-year-old musician appears interested in helping author the restaurant chain's future.

"YOOOO,,, I use my platform to help others and now I wanna use it to help save one of America’s greatest dining dynasties," the legendary DJ wrote back in a Wednesday, May 22, reply. "Yo @redlobster CALL ME,!!! I gotchu."

The hype man's offer didn't go unnoticed, as fans applauded him online.

"FLAVOR FLAV KEEPING CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS ALIVE WHAT A KING," one exclaimed.

"You’re the best!!" another cheered. "Saving the Cheddar Bay Biscuits."

A third even asked the artist to "Save @Chilis too please," referencing the unsubstantiated rumors–or what Chili's has blatantly called "misinformation"–that it would be shuttering all its locations, to which the rapper responded "For real."
