Red Kettle donations in Oshkosh count for double Dec. 7 as Oshkosh Corporation Foundation matches donations

OSHKOSH — It’s the season of giving, and one local company is teaming up with The Salvation Army of Oshkosh for the first match day of the bell-ringing season.

Dec. 7, Oshkosh Corporation Foundation will match all contributions to red kettles dollar-for-dollar, effectively doubling the value of each donation.

A news release said the matched funds will provide vital support for The Salvation Army’s programs and services, which assist individuals and families in need throughout the greater Oshkosh area.

“We are immensely grateful to the Oshkosh Corporation Foundation for their generous support and commitment to making a difference in our community,” Major James Mungai, the corps officer at The Salvation Army of Oshkosh, said in a news release. “Their match challenge magnifies the impact of every donation, allowing us to provide even more help to those who need it most.”
