Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson has revealed she auditioned for a role in the forthcoming James Bond movie.

In an interview with Variety, Wilson shared that she went up for a part in the next Bond instalment last year, and whilst discreet on the details, she was quick to highlight that it wasn't for the lead role of James Bond.

"What was really cool was getting to audition for Bond," she told the publication – but did not elaborate as to whether she has been successful in getting the role.

Wilson added that the connection came about because she had to request clearance for some Bond-themed jokes from producers ahead of her hosting the BAFTA Film Awards in 2022.
