A Realtor and a Local Contractor Inherit a House in ‘Flipping for Christmas’

Flipping for Christmas

With interest rates so high these days, many of us can only dream of home ownership. In Flipping for Christmas, two strangers inherit a house together. One wants to spruce it up to sell or “flip” it  while the other wants to keep it. Can the two find common ground and perhaps make it a home together?

Here’s everything we know about Flipping for Christmas including Parade exclusive sneak peek.

What is Flipping for Christmas about?

With Christmas just around the corner, ambitious realtor/designer Abigail (Ashley Newbrough) has no time for holiday spirit. Having just landed a career-changing opportunity to represent DevelaCorp, the largest property development company in the city, a busy Abigail is torn when her sister calls for help during the holidays with the “simple flip” of a recently inherited home. Abigail, who buries herself in her work, reluctantly sets off to help the family but is thrown a curveball when she learns the inherited house has a co-beneficiary, Bo (Marcus Rosner), the town’s altruistic contractor.

Abigail needs to sell the home for her sister who needs the money to make room for her growing family, including their dad who has recently moved in. Bo, on the other hand, wants to use the house as a bed and breakfast. As Abigail and Bo negotiate the pros and cons of each option, her holiday spirits are lifted as their collaboration leads to a reinvigorated sense of community. However, when Abigail unwittingly draws DevelaCorp’s attention to some local prime real estate, they bid to purchase the vacant land with the intent to regentrify Bo’s beloved community.

Abigail is devastated after revealing the impending sale to Bo, knowing she’s dampened their budding relationship. As she sets out to quash the deal and rescue the local community spirit, she discovers what’s truly important in life – the love of family, friends, and that special someone, especially during the holidays.
