The Real Reason Why Travis Kelce Missed Taylor Swift’s First European Eras Tour Date
Taylor Swift, Inset: Travis Kelce
Swifties thought they might get a Travis Kelce spotting at Taylor Swift's first European performance of the Eras Tour in Paris, France on Thursday, May 9, after the tight end enthusiastically commented "Lfg!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻" on guitarist Paul Sidoti's Instagram post teasing the show, but it seems as though he was busy with his own performance stateside.
His Grotesquerie co-star Niecy Nash gave fans a glimpse at what it's like to work with the Chiefs legend when she uploaded a quick clip to her Instagram Story on the ninth, catching him in the middle of touch-ups, with someone uploading a screenshot from the video on Twitter.
"Look who's getting ready for his close-up," she teased as she crash-zoomed in and out on the tight end as he sat in a chair in the corner.
"Who, me?" he asked with a little giggle and a tilt of his head.

It's not entirely clear if the clip was taken that day or if she was sharing another one from a previous day on set, seeing as when news broke of his casting earlier this week, the actress posted several clips of the athlete in action. The final one at the time was captioned, "That's a wrap!" indicating his time filming had already come to an end, however, as he wore two different outfits in the original clips uploaded and the most recent one from May 9, it's possible she just meant a wrap on his first day.
Details about Kelce's role are still under wraps, but we know his role in the horror drama is considered a guest star, and he appears to have dyed his hair—and beard—black for the occasion!
