Jell-O

Southerners have been celebrating Jell-O and its forms for generations—certainly the 130 years that the company’s name has become synonymous with gelatin-based salads, pies, and molds. We still adorn our holiday tables with retro gelatin salads of all shapes, colors, and opacities.

Layered lemon-cherry-lime Jell-O salad, for one, shows up at many Easter celebrations, as does Nanny's Lemon-Lime Gelatin Mold (occasionally with cottage cheese for the brave of texture). With warmer weather and porch picnics, we present guests with Jell-O Pie and Strawberry Pretzel Salad—both nostalgic, crowd-pleasing concoctions. You might say we’re enthralled.

Jell-O had some big news last year, unveiling a face lift on their logo for the first time in a decade. Now, with a recent announcement, they’re adding to that list of firsts. Jell-O is releasing two brand-new refrigerated ready-to-eat pudding flavors, including the brand’s first-ever fruit pudding cup in its history—Jell-O Churro Delicioso and Jell-O Mango Sabroso.

Jell-O

Jell-OChurro Delicioso is a silky pudding made with toasty, warm cinnamon inspired by the classic fried sweet we know and love, while Jell-O Mango Sabroso plays up the flavor of ripe, juicy mango with just the right amount of creaminess.

Both new pudding cup flavors are zero-sugar, making them a light afternoon treat after a classic Southern picnic. Jell-O Churro Delicioso and Jell-O Mango Sabroso will be available nationwide in late April in convenient four-packs donning the new, colorful Jell-O packaging.

Grab a friend and two spoons—which new pudding cup flavor will you taste first?
