Ready to peek at spectacular houses? Parade of Homes features Lee’s Summit gems

Love to snoop through houses? It’s that time of year when wandering through lovely homes is possible.

The Fall Parade of Homes, held Sept. 24 through Oct. 9, will give you a chance to see some of the most grand new homes in the area. The parade, sponsored by Mike Bryant Heating & Cooling will showcase 269 homes in eight counties, including several in Lee’s Summit and Johnson County.

More than 95 of the KC area’s builders have put effort into creating townhomes, villas, maintenance-provided communities and single-family homes. Looking for the latest design trends? It’s time to peek.

Here are a few homes, ranging from the mid $200,000s to $2.5 million, that might catch your eye.

Admission is free and parade guides will be available for pickup at the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City (I-435 and Holmes) beginning the Monday before the start of the parade, and at all parade homes during the event.

Consumers can also download the mobile app from the Google Play or Apple Store. Using the app, parade-goers can save their favorites and then map a customized route to each home. Homes will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, visit KCParadeofHomes.com.
