Street style tip of the day: Layer it up
The Dodge Charger is 100 years old! Can you believe it?! I can't! You know you've got a classic and iconic product on your hands when it's still on the market 100 years later and people still love it as much today as they did yesterday. As part of Dodge's "31 days of Classic Street Style" challenge with StyleList, I took a timeless and classic piece from my wardrobe---the Moto Jacket---and gave it a modern twist.
I've been so into layers lately...probably because I'm finally getting the hang of this whole "dressing for cooler weather" thing. Normally, I would just throw on something semi-cute and then toss on whatever I could to keep warm on top. But these days I've been putting a lot more thought into making sure my outfit looks well thought-out at every stage of undress. This moto jacket from Kelly Osbourne's "Stories...by Kelly Osbourne" Collection gave me the perfect opportunity to try my hand at layering one more time. I was actually pretty excited to receive this jacket, because I'd be eyeing it for a while. When Kelly Osbourne announced the launch of her new line I was stoked to see that it covered such a wide range of sizes (0-24). What better way to celebrate classic & iconic Americana than with a clothing line that celebrates every woman?
Add in a pop of color with these oxblood booties from Shoedazzle with a matching lippie and I'm ready for the open road. Catch me if you can!
