Jennie Garth stars in new holiday flick

Tis the season for hot apple cider by the fire and classic holiday movies. Every year, ABC Family kicks of "25 Days of Christmas" with exciting new programming perfect for the family and this year is no different. While they'll still air the classics, they've added a the new movie Holidaze to their calendar starring A-list actress Jennie Garth.

Jennie, who is best known for her role in 90210, plays a high powered corporate workaholic for a retail conglomerate, happy to spend the holidays jet-setting with her girlfriends. She's in for an unpleasant surprise when her boss sends her to her sleepy hometown to convince the reluctant townspeople to allow them to build a new discount store. Desperate to get out of town and back to her "real" life, Melody takes a spill and wakes up in an alternate universe where she never left home and is married to high school sweetheart. Once determined to leave her small town life behind, Melody must make sense of her new life and decide if you truly can go home again.

"It's so fun to be able to be in a movie that my girls can watch. They are both very excited," Jennie exclaimed while discussing the film with StyleList. "My girls love to bake cookies for school, help decorate the house and of course, give me their holiday wish-lists. This year, my one daughter sent me a link to her 'Holiday Wish-list Pinterest Board', she's very organized."

For Jennie, Christmas is a time to spend time with her daughters and be thankful. "My character Melody hates going home for the holidays. She'd rather be anywhere else. In the film, after a series of events, she starts to get a new perspective, which changes everything. I personally love the holiday's and go all out." When we asked Jennie what was on her holiday wish list, Jennie's list for Santa was quite unique. "Well, I'm currently redoing my house, so I'd probably ask for new floors and appliances," exclaimed Jennie.
