2006 Emmy Awards
"I wore an eggplant Badgley Mischka handmaid gown designed specifically for me. It was sewn in Italy and was flown to India where it was hand beaded. It was the first time anyone had designed a gown for me."
2007 SAG Awards
"I was 6 months pregnant at the time, so it was important to feel comfortable while still looking beautiful which felt hard to pull off. The boys( Badgley Mischka) did it again by designing yet another one of a kind gown for my nomination that evening."
2007 Emmy Awards (and I won!)
"I had just given birth to my son 4 months prior. I worked out really hard to get back in shape and so I wanted a dress that showed off my figure without being too revealing. My stylist at the time and I found this incredible St. John dress that fit the part perfectly. My favorite part was the back of the dress, as everyone got to see it as I walked up to except my award that night. I guess its true what they say, babies do bring good luck!"
2010 Golden Globes
"I wore a dress designed by Kevan Hall. This was the first dress that I chose out of a rack of gowns that luckily fit like a glove (no alterations needed). Guess there is a first time for everything."
2012 Variety and Women in Film Pre-Emmy Event
"I wore a dress by Haute Hippie. This is a dress I bought last minute off the rack and redesigned myself. It was originally a straight tunic, which I raised up and cinched at the waist so it would blouson over, to create shape and show a little more leg."
