5 motivating tips to get bikini body ready

Hello bikini season! Summer is the best time to get started on a health and fitness regimen. I love looking to Pinterest for healthy recipes and quick workouts (like this!) I can do from anywhere (more on my top 10 fitness tips here)! While discussing the importance of working out for overall health and to have more energy with my sister, who recently had a baby and just got back into working out), I decided to share a few more tips with you to start a new routine or stay on track.

1. Find something you actually enjoy and do a variety!
If you're not having fun, it's hard to stick with it! I find that changing it up every day keeps things fresh so I don't get bored. Different group Pilates and bar classes, walking with friends, elliptical machines and lifting weights are my favorite way to start the day. Don't let vacation stop you -- when at the beach, hike or walk in the morning, then paddle board in the afternoon!

2. Get a new outfit or a fresh pair of kicks!
I just ordered these and am obsessed. So many cute options here. I'm a Nike, VS and Lulu girl!

3. Sign up with friends!
Scheduling your workouts and writing them in your calendar is the best way to ensure you will remember and won't back out. I love to go to a class with Amy, then grab a healthy dinner at Whole Foods after to catch up! It's a date I can't stand up!

4. Keep healthy fruits and vegetables at the center of the fridge, so you are more likely to snack on those first! Now is the best time of year for fresh watermelon, pineapple and cherries! YUM!

5. Set goals!
Whether it's to fit into a favorite bikini (great sale here!) on a trip next month or to have more energy to keep up with your kids, nothing is to small of a reason to get moving!
