NBC is touting Saturday’s premiere as the “highest SNL season premiere on Peacock” (in terms of reach, and with no hard numbers reported), saying it more than doubled last year’s premiere.

All told, it was the “third-highest SNL performance” ever on Peacock through one-day viewing, trailing only the Nov. 12, 2022 episode (featuring host Dave Chappelle and musical guest Black Star) and Feb. 4, 2023 outing (with Pedro Pascal/Coldplay).

SNL continues Season 49 this weekend with host and musical guest Bad Bunny.
