Rapper 6ix9ine assaulted in Brooklyn, reportedly kidnapped and robbed

Rapper 6ix9ine was assaulted in Brooklyn early Sunday.

Police told the Daily News that there have been no arrests yet and the investigation is ongoing.

TMZ reports the hip-hop star — whose single “FEFE” with Nicki Minaj dropped Sunday — was hospitalized after a group of gunmen attacked, kidnapped and robbed him after a music video shoot.

The Bushwick native, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, and who also sometimes goes by the stage name Tekashi69, was reportedly confronted by three gunmen who knocked him unconscious and forced him into the backseat of their vehicle when he arrived home from the shoot Sunday morning.

He was reportedly told to offer up jewelry and money or he’d be killed, TMZ reports, and two men entered his home and stole approximately $750,000 worth of jewelry and between $15,000 and $20,000 in cash.

6ix9ine’s daughter and his daughter’s mother were inside the home at the time, but were not injured, according to the gossip site.

The rapper, 22, eventually escaped by hopping out of the vehicle’s back seat, and received help from a passing stranger.

His debut mixtape “Day69” was released in February and peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
