Randolph Central pre-registration for kindergarten set this week

WINCHESTER, Ind. — Any child who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 and lives in Randolph Central School District should be pre-registered to attend kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year.

Parents should register their children at the offices of Baker Elementary School (600 S. Oak St., Winchester) or Deerfield Elementary School (213 W. Ind. 28, Ridgeville) this week — Tuesday, April 9, through Friday, April 12, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

If you would like to pre-print and fill out your paperwork in order to save time and trips to the school, please visit www.rc.k12.in.us. You will still be required to present your child’s birth certificate and pick up required immunization, medical, and dental exams at registration.

"The Indiana Department of Education is requiring every school corporation in the state to have on file verification of Indiana residency documentation for each of our students," according to a release from Randolph Central schools..

A birth certificate is required before a child is accepted in kindergarten and must be brought on pre-registration day.
