Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry & More Royal Family Members React to Zara Tindall’s New Baby

ICYMI: Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, gave birth to her third child, a baby boy named Lucas. The 39-year-old mom and her husband, Mike, welcomed the newborn on the floor of their bathroom after they were unable to make it to the hospital in time.

Shortly after the baby news broke, members of the royal family shared congratulatory remarks. So, we compiled a list of every single reaction (because, well, we have nothing better to do). Keep reading for details.

1. Queen Elizabeth

Buckingham Palace released a statement on behalf of the monarch, which read: “The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news and look forward to meeting their 10th Great Grandchild when circumstances allow.”

2. Prince Harry & Meghan Markle

Unfortunately, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t publicly send their well-wishes. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly congratulated the Tindalls in private, according to Hello! magazine.

3. Mia & Lena Tindall

On an episode of his podcast The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, Mike revealed that his two daughters—Mia (7) and Lena (2)—couldn’t be more thrilled about their new baby brother. “When she got home, [Mia] was over the moon. Both of them were. Problem is Lena is like, ‘my baby,’” he said. “She tries to pick him up.”
