Queen Elizabeth confident royal family tension with Harry and Meghan ‘will come right’: report

Queen Elizabeth doesn’t think the strained relationship between grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry is courting disaster for the royal family, according to a new report.

“She has been through so many difficult times,” a royal insider told People magazine. “She knows things will come right in the end.”

The Queen, who turned 95 this week, “absorbs things quietly,” former palace press secretary Charles Anson told the publication.

William and Harry made headlines last Saturday when they were spotted talking to each other, seemingly amiably, as they walked away from their grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral at Windsor Castle together.

Harry, 36, had traveled alone from California for the service, marking his first trip back to the UK in more than a year.

His wife Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, did not join him on the trip because she’s pregnant with the couple’s second child, a girl, and was “advised by her physician not to travel,” a royal spokesman said.

Meghan, 39, reportedly spoke with the Queen ahead of the funeral and included a handwritten note with a wreath sent in Prince Philip’s honor.

Harry’s royal family reunion was scrutinized from every angle Saturday in the wake of his and Meghan’s revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey.

During the interview aired by CBS last month, the couple accused an unidentified member of the royal family of racism, saying the person raised “concerns” over the color of their son Archie’s skin.

They also faulted the palace for not defending Meghan enough in the press and not getting her help when she felt suicidal.
