Sad reminder for JoBro fans everywhere: All the brothers (well, excluding Frankie, the Bonus Jonas) are officially off the market now that Joe s-w-i-f-t-l-y rebounded after his divorce from Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner back in September 2024. Enter: model Stormi Bree Henley, whom the musician has been rumored to be dating since January 2023. But before Joe was out here being snapped boarding private jets in Cabo San Lucas with her, he was linked to several other famous ladies (like, hello, Taylor Swift, anyone?!?!). Meet 'em all here.
AJ Michalka: 2006
Joe and fellow former Disney star AJ Michalka dated way back in 2006 after the Jonas Brothers and her group, Aly & AJ, went on tour together. The two were a thing for about a year before breaking it off, and AJ later admitted that Joe was her first kiss before adding, “I'm pretty sure I was his too.” Cute!
Taylor Swift: 2008
Taylor Swift (you might've heard of her?) and Joe dated for roughly three months in 2008, but things did *not* end well. After they broke up, Taylor went on The Ellen Show and revealed that he'd dumped her during a 27-second phone call—not cool, bro! Looking back on his 'ship with Taylor years later in 2016, however, Joe reflected, “We were children. We were 18, 19. Young enough.”
Btw, the musicians have since made up (he was at her Fourth of July party in 2015), but that 27-second phone call will forever live in infamy.
Camilla Belle: 2008-2009
Camilla Belle and Joe met when she starred in the Jonas Brothers's “Lovebug” music video, and they began dating right after the musician ended things with Taylor Swift. Tay wasn't too happy about the timing, and actually told Us Magazine, “They've been together since we broke up. That's why we broke up—because he met her.” Awkward.
FWIW, Camilla and Joe only dated for about seven months between October 2008 and July 2009, and fans thought his song “Much Better”—which is about a new girlfriend who is, well, much better than a previous one—was about Camilla and Taylor, so there’s also that! Not awkward at all, everything's fine!
Demi Lovato: 2010
Joe met Demi Lovato on the set of the forever iconic Disney movie Camp Rock in 2007 (and, yes, they kissed in said movie), but they didn't start dating until 2010. All in all, their relationship was super short. “We eventually dated for a month. I really got to know her and got to see the ins and outs of what she was struggling with, like drug abuse,” Joe later recounted to Vulture in 2013. “I felt like I needed to take care of her, but at the same time, I was living a lie because I wasn't happy but felt like I had to stay in it for her because she needed help. I couldn't express any of that, of course, because I had a brand to protect.”
Of course, Demi is doing much better now (and even found love ❤️), and she's still friends with Joe. She even commented, “HUGE CONGRATS!!!!! Sooooo happy for the both of you!!!!” on Joe’s Instagram when he announced his engagement to Sophie Turner.
Ashley Greene: 2010-2011
Shortly after Joe and Demi ended things, Joe began dating Twilight star Ashley Greene in the summer of 2010. Joe called this his “first serious relationship.” In that same 2013 Vulture interview, he explained why things went south: “We were together for almost a year. I was living out in L.A. by myself, and at the end of the day, long distance didn’t work. It's incredibly difficult.”
What's probably most, uhm, notable about this romance is that years later, during a Reddit AMA, Joe revealed that he lost his virginity to Ashley. His exact words, you ask? Ahem: “I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley. You can probably just Google it.” Alrighty, then!
Blanda Eggenschwiler: 2012-2014
Joe and Blanda Eggenschwiler, a model and graphic designer, reportedly began dating in the fall of 2012 and were together for almost two years. At the time, Joe called Blanda “someone I really care about” and said “we get each other.” Sadly, no word on why they called it quits—a tidbit that might just haunt me for the rest of my life.
Gigi Hadid: 2015
Joe dated yet another super-famous lady when he coupled up with Gigi Hadid in June 2015. At the time, Taylor Swift insisted it was totally fine that one of her BFFs was dating one of her exes, and Gigi even brought him to Taylor’s Fourth of July party. But things seemed to end on a sour note for JiGi (or do you prefer Goe?) after just five months together.
The model ultimately began dating Zayn Malik two weeks after her split from Joe, of which he said publicly, “I think it’s interesting that she moved on so quickly. I mean it was definitely very quick.” Joe proceeded to unfollow Gigi on social media and delete a picture of himself with Zayn. Yikes.

Joe and his ex-wife Sophie Turner first sparked dating rumors in October 2016, and soon thereafter, the actor was spotted spending the holidays with the musician and his family. They kept their relationship pretty private at the beginning, but Sophie did share that she was “very happy,” which 🥺❤️.
About a year in, the couple adopted an adorable little husky puppy named Porky Basquiat, whom I highly recommend you follow on Instagram 4 the memz.
A month later, in October 2017, Joe proposed to Sophie, and they eventually got married in July 2019 at Château du Martinet in Provence (that is, after a very campy Vegas ceremony a month prior lol).

Romance rumors between Joe and model Stormi Bree initially began swirling when they were spotted walking through a private airport terminal in Los Cabos, Mexico on January 3, 2024.
In the time since, the celebs have continued to take their love ~international~ with trips to Aspen and even Australia ahead of the Jonas Brothers's February shows in Sydney.
More recently, a source told Us Weekly that “Joe is still dating Stormi and things are going really well. They haven’t used the love word yet, but they’ve been seeing each other for a few months now and have been getting more serious over the past several weeks.” Meanwhile, “He hasn’t introduced his kids to Stormi yet, but if things continue going well like they have been, then he would definitely be open to them meeting sometime soon.”
