For fans looking to mix horsepower with horse racing, Ford’s Garage is the place to be with its Kentucky Derby goings-on.

The 1920s garage-themed burger and craft beer restaurant chain, which has a location at 13193 Levinson Lane in Noblesville, is doing watch parties and giveaways as part of the 10 Days of Derby countdown to the 150th Kentucky Derby in a collaboration with Ford Motor Company, Churchill Downs Racetrack and the Kentucky Derby.

The Florida-based company is a licensee of the Ford Motor Company and its locations are filled with memorabilia from Ford Motor Company.

Limited edition cocktails include the Mint Julep and Woodford Spire, featuring Old Forester and Woodford Reserve Bourbon.

Ford’s Garage also is serving its version of the Hot Brown sandwich that was originally created at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kentucky Derby 150 keepsake glasses will be given to MotorClub members and available for purchase. Exclusive commemorative shirts and hats are also available for purchase.

What is the Kentucky Derby?

The one and a quarter-mile race of three-year-old thoroughbreds is the longest continually-held major sporting event in North America and the first leg of horse racing's Triple Crown series.

Also known as "The Run for the Roses" and "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports," the event takes place at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky, and is the most attended horse race in the nation.

When is the Kentucky Derby?

The Kentucky Derby takes place on the first Saturday in May. The 2024 race is slated for May 4.
