The following are restaurant inspections with critical violations, as conducted by the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department, between Jan. 22 and Feb. 9.

Jan. 24

C-Plus Market, 4106 West Pike, Zanesville. The handwashing sink is being used to store empty egg cartons. Raw eggs are stored above ready-to-eat foods.

Jan. 25

Patton-Kelly Dining Halls, 163 Stormont St., New Concord. The pizza dough cooler had a temperature of 46 F; must be held at a temperature of 41 F or below for cold holding time and temperature controlled for safety foods.

Jan. 26

Texas Roadhouse, 635 Zane St., Zanesville. The hot water rinse cycle was only reaching 155 F. The chlorine backup sanitizer was not working in the machine.

Red Lobster #606, 755 Zane St., Zanesville. Sliced and diced tomatoes not date marked.

Jan. 29

Oriental Super Buffet, 445 Underwood St., Zanesville. Raw chicken was stored above the shrimp. Mold buildup on the ice shoot of the soda machine.

China Max, 3575 Maple Ave., Zanesville. Raw chicken and eggs are stored above ready-to-eat foods.

King Garden, 3265 Maple Ave., Zanesville. Raw eggs are stored above ready-to-eat foods. Two live roaches under 3 3-compartment sink.

Jan. 30

Bee Sweet, 527 Main St. Zanesville. Items stored in the hand sink.

Feb. 5

King Garden, 3265 Maple Ave., Zanesville. Follow-up inspection. Raw eggs are stored above ready-to-eat foods. Two live roaches under 3 3-compartment sink.

Panda Bear Express, 2850 Maysville Pike, Zanesville. The person in charge is unable to demonstrate knowledge by having no critical violations. Items stored in the hand wash sink. Raw beef stored over mushrooms.

Feb. 6

Love’s Travel Stop #221, 605 Sonora Road, Zanesville. Salads were not discarded after the expiration date.

Feb. 8

T&C Ichiban Japanese Steak House, 2542 Maple Ave., Zanesville. Cooler at 55 F.

Feb. 9

Amaan Inc., 2550 East Pike, Zanesville. Raw eggs are stored above ready-to-eat foods.
