Stephanie Strzyzewski has been promoted to director of hotel sales at Sandia Resort & Casino. Strzyzewski has been at Sandia Resort & Casino for more than 15 years, transitioning from catering sales manager. Prior to joining Sandia Resort & Casino, Strzyzewski worked as a dance instructor and owned a wedding planning business. She also worked at Sheraton Uptown. Strzyzewski received her bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico.

Jessica "Jessie" Rosell of Albuquerque has been promoted to the 2024 partner class at Lathrop GPM LLP. Rosell concentrates her practice in environmental, litigation, and appellate matters, representing clients in negotiating administrative claims with federal and state environmental agencies, advising clients in initiating and maintaining environmental regulatory compliance programs, and assisting in complex environmental and toxic tort litigation in federal and state courts.

Solace Sexual Assault Services has announced its new Board of Directors. The new members are:

Treasurer — David Wannigman. Wannigman joined Solace soon after retiring from Los Alamos National Laboratory. He also serves as a volunteer advocate on the after-hours hotline, administrative support volunteer, as well as helping out with various maintenance tasks around the center. In his professional life, Wannigman was a nuclear safety engineer.

President — Nirmala Ganapathy. Ganapathy has been a managing partner of a small business in Santa Fe for the past 18 years. She is a licensed airplane pilot and Ph.D. electrical engineer who had a research and development career in the petroleum, consumer electronics and medical-devices industries. For more than 30 years, she has been working to helping survivors of sexual violence.

Vice President and Secretary — Amy Adler. Adler has a bachelor's degree from Duke University and master's degree from the University of California. As a nurse practitioner, Adler has been caring for patients for almost two decades, including as a forensic nurse examiner. She provided forensic exams to adult and pediatric patients at the UCLA Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica for eight years. Now in Santa Fe, Adler continues her work as a forensic nurse examiner at Christus St. Vincent.

Board member — Laura Carlson. Carlson is currently the business development manager for Nusenda Credit Union. She has worked in finance, tech and software. In her current role with Nusenda, she works to bring financial literacy resources to communities all around the state.

Board member — Peter Ives. Ives was educated at Harvard College and Georgetown University Law Center. Ives worked as an attorney in Santa Fe for many years, including for The Trust for Public Land and general counsel to the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.

Board member — Mona Martin. Martin has a master's degree in from Fairleigh Dickenson University and from the University of New Mexico. She worked as a bilingual special education instructor, program director and administrator, as well as teaching computer science at Santa Fe Community College and developing instructional courses for Los Alamos National Laboratory.
