Pringles Has a New Exclusive Flavor Hitting Shelves Soon

Is there anything that screams summer more than potluck barbecues and snacks? How about snacks that taste like your barbecue favorites?

Everyone knows about the classic barbecue-flavored potato chips, Doritos, Fritos, and Pringles, but this season, one brand is taking the iconic, yet simple sweet and tangy barbecue to the next level.

Pringles BBQ Crisps are getting a bolder flavor this year—because, as we know, everything’s bigger in Texas. For a limited time, Pringles is releasing an all-new Texas BBQ Brisket-flavored chip.

Pringles New Texas BBQ Brisket Flavor

Pringles Texas BBQ Brisket crisps are joining the flavor lineup for a limited run for spring and summer. The cans have already started popping up at stores nationwide, where they’ll be sold exclusively at Kroger. While, normally, we’d assume that things Kroger carries would be sold at its family brand stores—like Ralphs, Dillons, and Fred Meyer—it looks like this new flavor will only be at actual Kroger locations.

The Texas BBQ Brisket chip takes on the same sweet, tangy flavor as the OG BBQ Pringles, but with a new layer of brisket-like flavor. The new Pringles are more smoky and savory than the BBQ Pringles, which are just meant to taste like the sauce. Pringles’ new BBQ offering seems to be more well-rounded, like actual brisket itself, rather than just your traditional barbecue seasoning.

Though they’ve only just hit shelves, Pringles Texas BBQ Brisket crisps are already receiving rave reviews from customers.

“Honestly might be the best flavor I’ve had,” one Instagram user commented on a post about the new Pringles.

While they aren’t available nationwide, it sounds like they’re worth checking out if you have a Kroger store near you. And, if you don’t, you can always stick to the returning Honey Mustard or new-ish Everything Bagel flavors until Pringles decides to launch something new.

We need to find a way to grab the Texas BBQ Brisket flavor, though, because our summer won’t be complete without eating the new chips while wearing our favorite Pringles Crocs.
