Princess Rajwa Is Radiant in New Birthday Portraits

Princess Rajwa celebrated her 30th birthday yesterday!

To mark the occasion, the Royal Hashemite Court released a glamorous new portrait of the princess:

In the photograph, Princess Rajwa wears a ruched velvet Rabanne top (and likely the matching embellished velvet maxi skirt, though the portrait is cropped). She also accessorized with the earrings she wore on her wedding day. In another portrait shared later in the day by the palace, Rajwa wears her diamond wedding tiara, featuring the Arabic inscription Rajwa min Allah, which translates to "Hope from God."

In another new photograph to mark his wife's birthday, Crown Prince Hussein shared a sweet snap of them on his Instagram, writing, "May God continue to bless and nurture the bond between us. Happy Birthday Rajwa!" In the picture shared by her husband, Rajwa wears a red dress, and accessorizes with Schiaparelli's dramatic "Mouth and Eye" pendant earrings and carries Bottega Veneta's gold knot clutch. She is in focus in the flash, as Hussein looks on:

A few weeks ago, the Royal Hashemite Court announced Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa are expecting their first child, due this summer. "The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this occasion, and wishes Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa good health and joy as they welcome their baby," the Court wrote.

The royal baby will be the first grandchild of Queen Rania and King Abdullah. If the baby is a boy, he will be second in line to the Jordanian throne, but if the baby is a girl, she won't be in the line of succession.
