Princess Kate Changes Up Her Style in a Nude Top, Bright Orange Blazer, and Flats

Princess Catherine stepped out in another causally sophisticated look this morning, ahead of a busy day of engagements.

The royal visited Orchards Centre, a medical center in Sittingbourne, Kent County, to discuss the importance of supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as their families, per Kensington Palace.

She also learned about the work done by the National Portage Association, a home-visiting educational service for children—from birth until preschool age—across England and Wales. Today’s visit is the first in a series of engagements for the princess’s Shaping Us campaign that will focus on children and families in the run-up to Christmas.

For the day, Princess Kate opted for a business-casual ensemble ideal for the start of autumn. She wore a nude crewneck sweater as a top and tucked it into a pair of black high-waisted straight-leg trousers. Over the sweater, she layered an elegant tweed blazer in a vibrant orange; it was adorned with golden buttons that matched her tiny gold hoop earrings.

For footwear, Kate eschewed her go-to suede heels, opting instead for pointy black suede flats, each embellished with a leather buckle at the front.

The royal’s casual style continued in her glam. While she wore her usual minimal makeup and subtle smoky eye, her hair was pulled up into a pretty bun, with loose strands of hair framing her face. Throughout the day, photos show the hairstyle transforming into a chic messy bun.

Kate’s shift in style is recent. This month, the royal has been on a power-suit streak, and just yesterday, she put a modern spin on a green Burberry suit look by accessorizing it with a gold choker chain necklace and gold hoops.
