Princess Charlene of Monaco Is Lovely in a Glamorous Navy Gown and Diamonds

Princess Charlene is out and about once again, and while she was most recently seen showing off her version of effortless, casual cool at a Grimaldi Historical Sites event in Monaco, this time the Monegasque royal is all glammed up.

Today, Charlene attended an awards ceremony at the 62nd Monte-Carlo Television Festival, wearing an elegantly understated midnight blue sleeveless Akris gown with lapels at the neckline. She accented the look with a V-shaped necklace of glinting yellow and white gemstones along with a matching set of drop earrings.

The princess also, of course, sported the latest iteration of her famous pixie haircut, which she recently switched from her signature platinum blonde to a rich brunette shade; Charlene first debuted the style in late May at Monaco's F1 Grand Prix race. She also wore a subtly smoky eye makeup look and a soft, peachy-nude lip.

The timeless effect of Charlene's gown and the glittering gems she paired it with brought modern day Grace Kelly vibes to the event—only appropriate since Charlene is married to Prince Albert, the only son of the iconic starlet.

The Monegasque royals have had a busy few weeks. In addition to attending the coronation of Britain's King Charles in May, Albert and Charlene have been making appearances at a number of public events including the F1 race, a festival centered on the Grimaldi family's history, and a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Albert's father, Prince Rainier III.
