The Royal family is celebrating today.

On April 23, Prince William and Princess Catherine’s youngest child Prince Louis turned 6 years old. William and Catherine shared a new photo of Louis with their social media followers in celebration of their son’s big day.

The photo, a family tradition, is an adorable one. It features Louis in a plaid button down, lying on a blanket in the grass with a big smile on his face.

His grin also reveals that the young prince has started losing some of his baby teeth, and many think the youngest royal is looking a lot like his older brother these days.

“Louis looks so much like George here,” one commenter wrote.

And many others love that the photo that was shared was taken by Princess Catherine, herself. As it’s been made public, Catherine is currently battling an undisclosed cancer.

The mom of three was diagnosed after undergoing abdominal surgery at the start of the year.

“Aw what a beautiful picture!! His big smile for his beloved mother,” another commenter added. “Thank you to our Prince and Princess of Wales for this wonderful surprise!! Wishing a very happy and fun birthday to the adorable Prince Louis! I hope he will have a wonderful new year!! We all love you, Louis.”

“OMG. Happy Birthday to Prince Louis. Thank you so much for this beautiful photo. Louis looks so handsome and he looks so much like George here. I hope he’s having an amazing day.”
