Prince Harry, Meghan Markle introduced Queen Elizabeth to their newborn daughter over video call

It was a royal introduction — over video.

Queen Elizabeth II met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s newborn daughter over a video call, People reported, citing a source.

The baby girl, Lilibet Diana, was born last Friday.

The source told People that Harry and Meghan “were very excited and couldn’t wait to share that their daughter arrived.”

The newborn’s name pays homage to both the Queen, whose longtime nickname is Lilibet, and Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.
