Prince Harry Was in Full-on Rockstar Mode During Return to England

As a royals reporter, I’ve been following Prince Harry for years, so believe me when I say he was truly channeling his inner rockstar during his latest visit to London.

This week, the Duke of Sussex, 39, traveled to England to honor the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, which is an international sporting event for wounded and injured veterans that he co-founded. Prince Harry was greeted by a large crowd of well-wishers when he attended a special service at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Photographers captured his arrival and departure from the event, and he looked like a total rockstar while waving to and greeting the sea of fans.

He even stopped to shake hands with a few lucky bystanders.

Unfortunately, Prince Harry wasn’t able to see his father, King Charles, during his visit due to the monarch’s busy work schedule. Earlier this week, a spokesman confirmed that there wouldn't be a father-son reunion.

“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not The Duke will meet with his father while in the U.K. this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program,” the spokesperson said. “The Duke, of course, is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

After his trip to London, Prince Harry traveled to Nigeria, where he met up with his wife, Meghan Markle. In fact, it’s only been a matter of hours and the duo have already made a splash. While there, the couple will meet with service members, participate in several cultural activities and discuss the Invictus Games. (FYI, they were invited by the country’s Chief of Defense Staff, the highest-ranking military official.)

Cheers to more Prince Harry sightings!
