Prince Charles doesn’t respond to question about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey

Prince Charles did not respond Tuesday when he was asked about his son and daughter-in-law’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Charles, 72, paused and looked up but didn’t answer after being pressed for his thoughts on the highly publicized sit-down as he departed a vaccination site, Reuters reported.

His appearance at the center in London came two days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s conversation with Winfrey aired on CBS.

During the two-hour special, Harry and Meghan accused royal officials of not being supportive of them before they stepped down from their senior roles last year and moved to California.

Markle, 39, told Winfrey she learned of concerns within the palace about “how dark” their son Archie’s “skin might be” before his 2019 birth.

Winfrey shared Monday on “CBS This Morning” that Harry said Queen Elizabeth II or Prince Philip weren’t “part of those conversations.”

Sunday’s interview also saw Harry reveal his father stopped taking his calls at one point, and said their relationship needs to be worked on.

Harry, who said he felt “trapped” in the royal system before leaving the United Kingdom, told Winfrey he didn’t blindside the Queen with his move.

“I never blindsided my grandmother,” Harry said. “I have too much respect for her.”
