Monaco's royal family has been in the spotlight in recent weeks as rumors have swirled that Prince Albert and his wife, Princess Charlene, may have separated. Though the royal couple have yet to comment on the issue publicly, speculation was further fueled last week when Charlene's public Instagram account disappeared.

Prince Albert has apparently been staying in touch with other members of his family, though, as a social media post shows that he joined his two eldest children, Alexandre Grimaldi and actress Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, to celebrate Alexandre's 20th birthday last Friday.

The Instagram post, made by Alexandre's mother, Nicole Coste—a former flight attendant with whom Albert once had a relationship—included a photo of herself, Albert, Alexandre, Jazmin, and others gathered around a table in an outdoor setting. She captioned the photo simply, "Happy birthday Alexandre"

Also included in the post is a photo of what appears to be the birthday cake, emblazoned with the emblem of the House of Grimaldi—the Monegasque royal family.

Alexandre's older sister, Jazmin, who is Albert's daughter by Tamara Rotolo, also shared a sweet post with a childhood photo of the sibling duo along with a more recent one.

"10 years have flown by… Happy 20th Birthday to the most amazing little brother a big sister could ask for 🩷🎉🎂Love you bro!" she wrote in the caption.

Though Albert officially recognized both Jazmin and Alexandre as his children in the early 2000s, the laws governing Monaco's succession mean that neither of them are eligible for the throne. Instead, it's Albert's twins with Princess Charlene—Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who are next in line.
