Pretty Sure Saweetie Is a Marketing Genius Based on Her Net Worth
Just a few of the impressive things Saweetie has accomplished in the last few years while the rest of us have been busy investing our savings in sweatpants: Her single “Best Friend” was in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100; she made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list; she launched Icy University, a clothing line with PrettyLittleThing, AND a partnership with Morphe; and she literally came out with a McDonald’s meal, appropriately called the Saweetie Meal. Oh, and she had a recurring role on Grown-ish season 3. And more recently, she's still been performing and releasing Brand! New! Music! Like…she’s been busy! And she’s been making a ton of money along the way.
SooOOOoooo, how much is Saweetie worth? Ahem:
Straight Up, Saweetie’s Total Net Worth Is $4 Million
I repeat: $4 million. Which makes sense based on the success of her music sales *alone*. According to Celebrity Net Worth, High Maintenance reached #32 on the U.S. R&B/Hip-Hop sales chart, Icy reached #85 on the Billboard 200 chart, and her single “My Type” got to #1 on the U.S. Rhythmic chart, while “Tap In” reached #2.
Collaborations Are Major Moneymakers for Her
Already went over it, but it’s worth repeating: Saweetie has had SO MANY COLLABS. PrettyLittleThing and Morphe are both huge deals, but her McDonald’s partnership takes things to a whole new level because I hear Ronald McDonald is freaking loaded. While we don’t know the exact terms of Saweetie’s contract, Forbes reports that when Travis Scott created his McDonald’s meal, he grossed an estimated $5 million from the endorsement itself and another $15 million from the merch sales. Saweetie talked about her partnerships with Forbes back in June 2021, saying, “As women, we’re shielded, but I think it’s important for women to network and make a name for themselves by forming their own personal relationships. That’s something I learned this past year, and that’s why I love talking to the owners of brands I’m doing partnerships with. I’m a very direct person.” She also noted, “Partnerships have been a great way to blend music, fashion, and beauty. And I make music that goes great with campaign ads.”
She’s Basically a Marketing Genius
Saweetie is obviously excellent at making money, which makes sense because she’s a marketing expert. Saweetie got her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Southern California, and as she told Forbes, “I’m glad I went to college because I’m stepping into these different industries…it’s like an extension of college and I feel like that’s what makes me a great businesswoman. I’m looking at it like, how did y’all create this multibillion-dollar company? I’m trying to do the same thing!”

Saweetie Wants to Be a Global Mogul
Saweetie is already doing the most in the best possible way, but this is just the beginning. “I want to be a global mogul,” she told Forbes. “Eventually, I want to see my brand supersede Saweetie. I’m just really excited to take over. What’s great about me dominating is that I’m very inclusive and love to share my light and help other people out.”
“My goal is to create a strong business foundation—not something that’s just for clout or publicity—but a working machine that will last for decades to come,” she continued. “I want my great-grandkids running the Icy business.”
FYI before we go, Saweetie has also been donating a ton of money through her nonprofit, the Icy Baby Foundation, telling Cosmopolitan, “Money beats court cases, money buys medicine, money fixes potholes, money puts food on the counter, and money keeps the heat and electricity going.
